*********************************

This release has a variety of enhancements, including:

- Official FM11 support. Previous builds may have worked with FM11, but some installations saw a crash related to opening documents that has been fixed.

- A new cross-reference pod to replace the native pod, with a host of usability improvements over the native pod. By default, the pod is enabled and replaces the native pod. For more information, see the User Guide.

- When changing an existing ID on an element (using XRef Wizard tools), the ability to automatically sweep a book and update any cross-references that currently target the element.

- By default, the storage of all settings in the Windows "user profile" area (Documents and Settings, Users, etc.) This can be overridden with a setting in the new XRefWizard.ini file, to store settings in the installation folder as previous versions did.

Additionally, this release includes the following fixes and enhancements, previously released to a limited user base with patches 2.13-2.16:

- A problem with element text and long random ID generation was fixed.
- A problem where existing IDs were overwritten during an ID set action was fixed.
- A set of API calls related to ID uniquification and setting named destinations was added.
- The ability to operate on a hierarchical book structure (folders, groups, etc.) was added.

*********************************
Patch release 2.12 - 8/29/2011
*********************************

This patch allows the plugin DLL and support files to be installed anywhere, not just the WestStreet folder. Also, it was built specifically to support FM10, although previous builds appear to be working OK with FM10.

*********************************
Patch release 2.11 - 8/02/2010
*********************************

This patch fixes a crash on Windows 7 involved with ID uniquification.

*********************************
Patch release 2.10 - 7/27/2009
*********************************

Release 2.10 was built to test with FM9 and has passed preliminary testing. It also resolves a bug that sometimes caused the error report to fail to open for actions that produce a report, following a similar action.

While the core features of the plugin appear to function well with FM9, note that there are some anomalies with the appearance of dialog boxes and reports that did not occur in previous versions. We believe that there are bugs in version 9 of the FDK which prevent us from fixing them at this time. We will monitor the evolution of FrameMaker 9 and update our software as appropriate.

In particular, the functionality in previous versions that allowed the ID adjustment dialog to appear automatically following an xref insertion/update currently is not available for FM9. Furthermore, related options that allowed the automatic configuration of xref IDs do not work either. To compensate for this, a new "XRef Editor" command has been added to the right-click menus to launch the editor manually. We will continue to monitor this behavior and attempt to find a way to restore this functionality to FM9.

*********************************
Release 2.0
*********************************

Release 2.0 includes:

 - The ability to set empty IDs throughout a single document, not just a book
 - Options to have empty IDs set automatically when elements are inserted and/or documents are saved
 - New options to control which elements get empty IDs set, when an applicable function is run
 - New option for the location of the XRef Wizard menu

*********************************
Patch Release 1.1
*********************************

 - New feature to set empty ID attributes, as well as uniquify existing IDs
 - New setting in the uniquification dialog box to control how many items are reported
 - Improved installation and settings storage process
 - More robust uniquification algorithm. This is to fix a bug where the plugin eventually failed to produce unique IDs when processing large books and aborted the process.
